McDonough, Donna M., 78, of Sun City, AZ passed away on March 26, 2010. at Mayo Hospital after a courageous 26 month battle with cancer. Donna is survived by her husband Dr. Robert McDonough of Sun City, AZ. Her daughter Sharon (John) Bergeson of Runnells, IA, her two sons, James (Jan) Borchers of Grinnell, IA and Arnold (Jan) Borchers of West Des Moines, IA. Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Clement of Rome Church in Sun City. The burial of her cremains will be held at a later date in Newton, IA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Foundation of Iowa 720 Lyon Street, Des Moines, IA 50309.
