HAMPTON, Neil Carter

Neil Carter Hampton, died Sunday October 14, 2001 at VA Medical Center. Born May 21 1924 in Tempe, AZ to Everett and Georgia (Carter) Hampton. Military Service in U.S. Navy, Kiwanis Rancher of the Year, Past President of Yavapai CattleGrowers, Past President Kirkland School Board, Past President Barzona Breeders Association, Past Captain Yavapai Sheriff's Posse, Leader Triangle 4-H Club, Sat on following Boards Triangle Soil Conservation, Yavapai College Board, Yavapai County Planning & Zoning. Lived in Arizona 72 years and Kirkland for more than 50 Years. Preceeded in death by wife of 57 years Francie Jo Hampton, & son Charles C. Hampton. Survivors include children Cathi and Joe Cobey, Steve and Pam Hampton of Kirkland and Bart and Norma Hampton of Phoenix, Sister, Elizabeth James of Tempe and Richard Hampton of Emerald Australia, five Grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held 3 pm, Friday, October 19th, 2001 in Kirkland at the Family's Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VA Hospice Pogram.
