Evelyn Barnett Duchi, 91, of Scottsdale, died June 9, 2001. Mrs. Duchi, a retired kindergarten teacher, was born September 13, 1909 in Soldier, Kansas. 

Her daughter, Patricia (Tom) Nick of Paradise Valley son, Dave (Mary Beth) Clements of Tucson 2 sisters, Helen Shriver of Independence, Iowa and Frances Jones of Windsor, Connecticut; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren survive her. 

Memorial service was Friday, June 15, 2001, at Desert Streams Chapel, 9080 E. Cactus Road, Scottsdale. Interment at Paradise Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Church or to Alzheimer's Association, 1028 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006, Arrangements under the direction of Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale.
