Survived by his wife of 59 years Evelyn Ann Nieces: Mary Verde and Catherine Young and their families. Fond in-laws & their families Virginia (Ray, dec'd) Hunt, Annette and Ray Hodges, Alice and Anthony Ragona. Dear friends Lila (Jim, dec'd) LePage and Bob & Vein Heglund. 

Life long Honorary member of Knights of Columbus Tempe Council and American Legion. Memorial Mass was Saturday, 10/13/01 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsay Road, Mesa. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers to Hospice of The Valley, 2222 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202 or Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
