La Raine J. Young, formerly from Neenah, Wisconsin and a Sun City West resident, died Saturday, January 27th, 2001. She was 79 years old. She was a graduate from Neenah High School & Northwestern University. She also had a Master's Degree in Speech Education from Arizona State University. After moving to Phoenix in 1959 she taught school with the Osborne School District for 23 years. She is survived by her husband, Dudley Young, also formerly from Neenah, & her brother Eugene Johnson who resides in Neenah, Wisconsin. Memorial service was Saturday, February 3rd, 2001 at the Trinity Episcopalian Church located on 100 W. Roosevelt in Phoenix. Arrangements were made by Sunwest Funeral Home.
