HARRIS, Rachel F.

Rachel F Harris, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend was called home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2001. She was born on November 3, 1908 in Elk City, Oklahoma, the second of six children of Charles and Jennie Fritch. She married Olen Harris in 1939 and lived a wonderful, exemplary life in Sao Paulo, Brazil, San Marino, California and Scottsdale, Arizona. Preceded in death by her husband Olen, she is survived by her sister Eudelle Craig; children Dick and Carol Harris, Jennifer and Henry Wheeler and Claudia and Don Lee; grandchildren Cynthia and Ismael Medeles, James and Debra Harris, Tamara, Rachel, and Janna Harris, Eric and Becca Wheeler, Heather and Matt Kibbe, Jason Wheeler, Jennifer and Ryan Lee; great grandchildren Amanda and Sam Medeles, Emma Wheeler, R.C. Harris and Henry Kibbe. She was a long, long time faithful member of Paradise Valley United Methodist Church and her beloved poker group. A truly loving and caring person, Rachel was a joy and inspiration to all her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 2601 E.
