WILSON, John (Jack)


John "Jack" M. Wilson, A loving husband, father, step-father, brother, uncle, passed away March 13, 2001 in his home at the age of 82. Born June 17, 1918 in Gillett, Wisconsin, the son of Forest C. and Eva O'Grady Wilson. Jack was a professional wrestler for 35 years, a life member of the Holy Name Society and the VFW Collins-Meyer Post 2903, American Legion, American Veterans and the Catholic War Veterans, also a member of the DAV and Knights of Columbus. Jack is survived by his loving wife: Norma Jean (Jeanne); sons: Michael (Mary), Mukwonogo, WI; John (Nancy) Wilson, Ocala, FL; daughters: Shari (Karen) Wilson-Rice; Kathy (Dave) Latawiec; Karyn Wilson, Milwaukee, WI; step-children: Joe (Donna) Evans, Chandler, AZ; Pat Monday; Dave (Cindy) Evans, Phoenix, AZ; 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Virginia Bernard, Barbara Monday of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Pat Connell, Milw., Wis., and many nephews & nieces. Jack was preceded in death by siblings: Forest Wilson & Elizabeth Pinchar. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 East Campbell Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, March 16, 2001. A short vigil will begin at 10:30 at the church. Interment will take place in Wisconsin. The Arizona Republic March 15, 2001
