Lydia Margaret Wakefield died March 24, 2010 at age 61 in Tempe, Ariz. She was the dear mother of Wendy Brownell Cox (Brian) and Roland Wakefield (Angel); grandmother of Isaiah, Levi, Zoe (Cox), Mikey, and Kylie (Wakefield); sister of Connie Sansom (Cecil), Vicky Castaneda (Mike), Marie Powers (Richard), and Bobby Valdez.

A celebration of Lydia’s life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday, April 10 from noon to 3 p.m. 

Family requests those attending bring photos and memories. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley.
