CAMPBELL, David Williams

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/26/2004 David Williams Campbell, 56, died March 21, 2004 in Show Low. He was born in New Hampton, Iowa. His family moved to Arizona when he was a child. Dave attended Camelback High School. He joined the United States Post Office and served as a carrier for many years and also as a postal inspector. In the early 80s he was assigned to the post-master general's office in Washington, D.C. under special assignment, he finished his career as a U.S. Postmaster in St. John's retiring in 2003. Dave had two beautiful children whom he loved very much. He also loved his grandchildren dearly. He has a tremendous and witty sense of humor and will be missed by all. Dave is survived by his father, William Campbell; mother, Ione Campbell; two daughters, Rhonda (Aaron) Hawley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sondra Campbell of Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
