Searles, Robert H. "Bob" born 1926 in Ithaca, NY, passed away March 28, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. Survivors include Nancy, his wife of 64 years; 4 sons Tim, David, Daniel and Paul, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen, and parents Frank and Hazel Searles. 

Bob was a World War II Navy veteran. He and Nancy moved to Arizona in 1978 where they managed a hearing aid business in Mesa. "Igor", as he was known to his friends, loved four wheeling, camping and traveling, especially in Mexico. He had a passion for story telling, singing and his beloved pets. 

Burial will be in New York. A Phoenix celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be made to any animal shelter. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences by visiting the online obituary Guest Book at www.obits.azcentral.com
