Dorothy H. Luke March 19, 1912 - March 28, 2010 98, died peacefully in her home March 28th. She was born in Calexico, California on March 19, 1912. She was a graduate of Phoenix Union High School and married Bill Luke, auto dealer, rancher and thoroughbred racehorse breeder. They had five children, Barbara, Marilyn (deceased), Dorothy Ann, Bill Jr. and Donald. She is survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She and Bill were members of the Phoenix Country Club and the Valley Field and Polo Riding Club. She was a member of the Maricopa County Girl Scout Board and headed the first Cookie Drive in Phoenix. She was also a long-time volunteer at Saint Joseph's Hospital, a member of the St. Luke's Board of Visitors and the Diggers Garden Club. Donation in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 1028 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85006. Funeral mass will be at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Avenue at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 5th. Following internment at St Francis Cemetery, family and friends are invited to meet in her home in celebration of her life.
