LAWSON, Howard William


The Arizona 3/31/2010 Lawson, Howard William, 93, quietly passed away as he slept on Saturday, March 27. His wife, Faith Hollingsworth Lawson, was with him in their home at Emerald Groves, in Mesa, AZ. Howard was born on January 9, 1917 to Charles and Evalyn Lawson, in Lodi, WI. He was a man of many talents and, after serving as navigator of a B-17 in the Army Air Corps during World War II, chose to spend most of his career life as a bookkeeper and accountant. Howard retired from the Washington State Auditor's Office in 1979 and lived in Edmonds, WA for several years before moving to Arizona. Howard is survived by his wife, Faith; his son Rick (wife Pat) Lawson; his daughter, Faith (husband Ken) Crawford; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
