DELGADO, Roberta Mendoza

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona April 2, 2010 Delgado, Roberta Mendoza entered this world in Parker, Arizona, December 7, 1940 then moved to Phoenix in 1942. She met her life long companion and husband Joe Delgado in 1955 at the Broadway swimming pool by the age of fifteen. They were then married September 15, 1958. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. Roberta had a heart full of love and devoted her life to serving Jehovah. She always put her family and friends feelings before her own, always giving her heart to others before thinking of herself. Throughout her life span she battled cancer up until her last dying breath. She is survived by her husband of 51 wonderful years, Joe Delgado and their kids Joseph Delgado, Nadine Larue, Robert Delgado, Patricia Delgado, Lupe Tanchez, Theodore Delgado and Martin Delgado, Twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren, one brother Andy Mendoza as well as numerous nieces and nephews, friends and family, Christian brothers and sisters. She entered into rest March 29, 2010 and will remain asleep in death until the appointed time. Services will be held on Saturday April 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM, 7101 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale Ariz., 85303 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses West Valley Congregation
