The Arizona Republic 4/2/2010 McVety, Kirk Hamilton Tioga, TX – Kirk Hamilton McVety, 60 of Tioga, TX passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his home. He was born on December 14, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ to Gene and Nancy (Carter) McVety. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 4:00PM at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX with Rev. Kenny Guthrie officiating. He is survived by two daughters, Dr. Meredith Ryan of Corpus Christi, TX and Joanna Wood of Tioga, TX, one brother Matt McVety of Phoenix, AZ and one sister, Tyson Kennedy of Denver, CO. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Drake, Madeline, Samantha, Alex and Jackson. Services are under the direction of Slay Memorial Funeral Center, Aubrey, TX
