Primus, Harold Charles, 78, of Fountain Hills, AZ passed away on March 30, 2010. Born in Chicago, Harold worked in the USA and abroad as a chemical engineer for Abbott Laboratories, after graduating from the University of Illinois. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Harold married Marilyn Bernstein on August 19th, 1956.
He will always be lovingly remembered by wife Marilyn Primus; daughters Susan Whittlesey (David) of Hotchkiss, CO, Amy Primus (Bryan Young) of San Mateo, CA; son Paul Primus (Barbara Hamilton) of Denver, CO; grandchildren Seth and Kelly Whittlesey, and Joshua and Lily Primus; brother Norman Primus; nephew Charles Primus (Romana); niece Bonnie Cohen (Jeff); brother-in-law Leonard Bernstein (Sharon) and many others. Harold was pre-deceased by parents Oscar and Jeanette Primus, brother Alan and sister Vivian. Harold's wisdom, kindness and generosity were appreciated by all, along with his quiet humor and beautiful piano playing. Memorial service on Friday April 2nd, 10 a.m., Fountain Hills Amphitheater, at corner of Palisades and Saguaro Blvds. Sinai Mortuary, contributions to Congregation Beth Hagivot, Fountain Hills.
