ALLEN, Vera L.

Parker Pioneer 12/11/2002 Vera Lee Allen, 83, passed away on Dec. 4, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was born on May 4, 1919 in Bethany, Mo.; to Jesse Carl and Edith Mamie Hogan. She was the only child. Vera married Ollie Allen and had three children. She worked as a seamstress most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, reading, church, and her grandchildren. She was a good prayer warrior and was great at starting prayer chaims for those in need. Vera was always there to assist those who needed her help. She is survived by her children: Alice Patterson, Jean Riley and Norman Allen, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ollie Allen. Services were held on Dec. 9 at Parker Funeral Home followed by burial at Parker Cemetery, Parker Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
