ESTRELLA, Aurelio Peredia

Aurielo Peredia Estrella, 57, of Phoenix, AZ passed away December 01, 2002. Born June 15, 1945 in Agua Prieta Mexico. Aurielo emigrated to the U.S. with his family at a very young age from Agua Prieta Mexico. Aurielo was the oldest of seven brothers and 2 sisters. As a member of the Mormon religion he served his mission in Mexico, he also served 2 years in the US Army. Aurielo was a retired Phoenix police officer of 25 years. Throughout that time he helped and touched many lives, one of the ways through the PAL program which he held dear to his heart; also numerous other ways of helping people. He was the type of person that talked to everyone and made friends everywhere. Some of you may not really know him but you know the type of person he was. He is survived by his devoted, loving wife of 33 years Lydia, and 2 children Aurielo (JR), Jennifer Laskowski, and 2 grandchildren Isabel and Aniela Laskowski, Visitation was held Friday December 06, 2002 at the Greenwood Memory Lawn, in the Serenity Mausoleum Chapel with services following, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
