The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona - 04/01/2010 Robert V. (Bob) Schlosser 1947 - 2010 Robert V. (Bob) Schlosser, 62, of Jerome died Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Bob also requested no flowers or memorials. His father and siblings will hold a private celebration of Bob’s life in Clinton, IA. Bob was born on July 19, 1947, in Evanston, IL, to Vernon I. and Lois J. Schlosser. He graduated from Maine Township South in Park Ridge, IL, and attended both the University of Missouri at Columbia and the University of Illinois at Champaign. Bob was a self-employed craftsman, creating many beautiful pieces of furniture and stained glass lamp art. Most recently Bob created a steel detailing business, Schlosser Detailing, Inc. Bob is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents and is survived by his father, Vernon I. Schlosser, Clinton, IA, and Sun City, AZ; his siblings: Ruth (Drew) Chambers, Clinton, IA; Tom (Jacci) Schlosser, Clinton, IA; Jane Volden, Davenport, IA; Karen (Dave) Diamond, Rockford, IL; nieces and nephews.
