The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Saturday, April 3, 2010 Ann Brownscomb, 95, of Cottonwood died March 31 in Flagstaff. She was born May 16, 1914, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Brownscomb enjoyed poetry writing, painting, drawing and caring for her cats. She also enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour novels. Her husband Philip Brownscomb preceded her in death. She leaves a son, Peter Brownscomb of Shoreline, Washington; caregiver and friend Linda Hart and staff and friends at Austin House.
