Aaron Ruiz, 31, died April 19, 2004 in Phoenix.
He was born and raised in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico where he attended school. Aaron came to Arizona in 1998. He married Tricia Jones of Snowflake in June 1999. Aaron has been a self-employed tile layer and worked as a sub-contractor for numerous building contractors in the area.
Aaron was a member of the Taylor 7th Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Aaron served a mission for the church in the Mexico East Mission 1991-1993. Aaron died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Shumway.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Tricia Ruiz of Snowflake; two sons, Kevin Lee and David Alexander Ruiz of Snowflake; his parents Mauro and Graciela Ruiz of Taylor; three brothers, Alberto Ruiz of Taylor, Salvador Ruiz of Taylor, Iram Ruiz of San Jose, California; three sisters, Veronica Nunez of Phoenix, Mireya Contreras of Show Low, Lorena McCauley of Flagstaff.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 23, at the Taylor Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation was held Thursday evening at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake. Interment will be in the Reed Hatch Memorial Center in Taylor.
