Arah B. Coleman, or "Sis," as she was known to all her friends, died at her home in Springerville April 22, 2004. She was 92-years old.
Sis was born July 26, 1912 in King, (now known as Tatum) New Mexico to Jackson and Annis Fritz. Sis attended college and taught elementary school at Apache Creek, New Mexico for two years. It was there she met and married Ed Coleman. In 1946 they moved their family to Springerville and bought a home in east Springerville where she lived until her death.
Sis began working at the local medical clinic in 1954 and remained as front office manager until her retirement in 1972. During that course of time, she worked for many of the local doctors and became known to just about everyone in the area. She was very active at the Round Valley Senior Center. She loved quilt and she liked to fish. She had a natural love for people and considered every person she met a friend. She spent her entire life taking care of people.
Survivors include son Edwin B. (Sherry M.) Coleman, Tempe; son-in-law Ken Voget; sister-in-law Zetha Fritz; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; three nieces and six nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband Ed and daughter Cynthia Voget.

Funeral services will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church in Springerville, Friday, April 30 at 11 a.m.
