Harry Lester Leuzinger, 81, died April 21, 2004 in Linden.
He was born in Wisconsin in 1922. As a small child his family moved to Ashton, Illinois where they built and operated cheese factories. Harry proudly served his country building ships prior to World War II and entered into active service once the war had begun. He married Phyllis Whittaker and shortly after they moved to Arizona where Harry owned and operated a rental equipment company.
For the remainder of his life he was a construction foreman for Salt River Project and also was the transportation manager for Show Low Pontiac-GMC-Buick in his retirement years, working up until seven days prior to his death. Harry loved golfing, fishing, hunting and also had an affinity for the quick draw. He was a renowned gunslinger performing in Las Vegas and once even stood up to Clint Eastwood. Although Harry never had his own children he had a large "family" and those he considered his own.
