Billy Joe Armstrong, 38, died April 28, 2004 in Whiteriver.
He was born in Whiteriver Dec. 23, 1965 and and also lived there. He was the youngest of nine children and worked for the Forestry TSI, logging, Tribal Herd and FATCO. He had many friends and was loved by little children, his hobbies were fishing, camping, rodeos and joy riding.
He is survived by his sisters, Catherine Tointigh, Roxie Nachu and Peralta Kasey; brothers, Vernasto, Novack, Julius Armstrong, Jr., Armond Armstrong and Dickson Armstrong; son, Justin Cowboy Armstrong; daughter, Joeletta Annie Armstrong; god-son, Josiah Lee; and companion of 10 years, Lisa Mosby; along with many relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius Armstrong, Sr. and Annie Armstrong.
A wake will be held Thursday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at Dickson Armstrong's residence in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m. at the Miracle Church in Canyon Day with Bishop Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be in the Canyon Day Community Center.
