RAMSEY, Edna Mae

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/04/2004 Edna Mae Ramsey, 83, died April 27, 2004 in Snowflake. Mrs. Ramsey was born and raised in Colorado before moving to Arizona in 1935. She married Robert D. Ramsey in 1938. Bob was in the logging business and the family traveled from logging camp to logging camp before settling in Snowflake. She was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many capacities, Primary, Relief Society, library and geneology library. She was absolutely devoted to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Don Ramsey of Phoenix; three daughters, Darlene Wilkinson of Florida, Carol Malaney of Snowflake and Linda Langston of Snowflake; 28 grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Mills of Snowflake and Audrey Rath of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 3 at the Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake.
