John Charles King, 82, died May 10, 2004 in Show Low.
He was bon in Royal Oak, Michigan. In his younger years he was a paper carrier for the Royal Oak Tribune. John was also a boy scout. He attended Royal Oak High and graduated in 1941. There he met his wife Irene. John served in the Army Air Corps in Italy in 1943 as an engineer. He kept the boys planes flying. John worked for National Twist Drill for over 40 years. He retired from Twist Drill in Rochester, Michigan. John will be sorely missed by all.
John is survived by his wife, Irene Kalling King of Mesa; daughter Joanne (Allen) Laviolette; one son, Lewis J. (Julie) King; one brother William A. (Elizabeth) King; one sister, Margaret (William) Purnell; two grandchildren, Ryan King and Christina King.
There are no services planned at this time.
