The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, April 5, 2010 Veda Pine, age 94, passed away April 2, 2010 in Prescott. She is survived by John and Elaine Christensen of Tempe; grandsons, John and Paul Christensen; great grandchildren, Kelsey and Derek Christensen. Veda worked in Prescott as a legal and medical secretary for 40 years before her retirement from Ft. Whipple Veterans Hospital in Prescott, Ariz. She was the daughter of Grover G. and Madaline Gray, Yavapai County ranching pioneers. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Glenice Chambers, Bessie Draper; and brother Grover G Gray, Jr.; grandson Mark Christensen. Services will be private. Memorial gifts in Veda's name may be given to Sharlot Hall Museum. The family was cared for by Heritage Memory Mortuary in Prescott, Ariz. provided by survivors.
