Wickenburg (AZ) Graphic Friday, October 9, 1931, p 8 c 4 Carl Hart and wife, Elizabeth, with a daughter four years old, driving west to California, on highway 66, car turned over pinning Mr Hart beneath it, killing him instantly. His wife and daughter were thrown from the car and were seriously injured. The daughter slightly hurt. They were accompanied by R.D. Underhill, and R.F. Dunn, who was slightly cut and bruised. Father of Mrs. Hart was notified and will come by plane from Dallas, Texas. Corsicana (TX) Daily Sun Tuesday, October 6, 1931 Corsicana, Texas, Oct 6--Funeral services for Charles R. Hart, 25, former student of the I.O.O.F Home here and later well-known musician in Dallas, who was killed Thursdsay morning in an automobile accident near Seligman, Ariz., were held here from the residence of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Nutt, Monday afternoon. Mrs. Laura Elizabeth Hart, 21, wife of Carl Hart, died in a Prescott, Ariz., hospital Tuesday afternoon from head injuries received in the same accident, according to information received by relatives here late Monday. The body will arrive in Corsicana Thursday morning. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Sue, 4, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mills, Austin; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Ward, Austin; five younger brothers, all of Austin, and two aunts, Miss Bertha Ward, Austin, and Mrs. Addie Camp Saunders of Dallas.
