The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/14/2004 William B. Morgan, 70, died May 5, 2004 at his "Make Do Ranch" near Concho. Bill was born in Newark, New Jersey Aug. 24, 1933. He had been a resident of Arizona for the past 12 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Later he was a police sergeant for Madison Township, New Jersey, retiring in 1989. He also was an electrical engineer, and the author of "The Roar of Silence," a men's adventure novel, which he published about three years ago. His survivors include son William Morgan, Jr., Howell, New Jersey; daughters Debbie Hansen, Wall, New Jersey, Elizabeth Shaw, Beachwood, New Jersey, Jeanne Heinig, Wayne, New Jerseu, Barbara Morgan, Florida, Melissa Lubeskie, Highland Mills, New Jersey and Melinda Massad, Parlin, New Jersey; brother Tom Morgan, Lake Hopaloong, New Jersey and also nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Morgan; and brothers Don, Dennis and Charles Morgan Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary handled the arrangements. Funeral services and interment will be in New Jersey.
