WILKINS, Rosalie

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/14/2004 Rosalie K. Wilkins, 70, died at her home in St. Johns, May 7, 2004. She was born Sept. 3, 1933 in Dixon, Missouri. She married husband, Darwin O. Wilkins in 1953. They had six children together. Rosalie was a wonderful and loving homemaker. She liked trying new recipes, sewing and reading. She also liked camping, swimming and going for outings with her family. Survivors include her devoted husband Dr. Darwin O. Wilkins; sons Carl G., St. Johns, Wayne L., Flagstaff, Roy D., Springerville, David O., Mesa; daughters Ruth A. Stock, Springerville and Rebecca A. Johnson, Layton , Utah. Also brothers Eslmer G. Kern, Salt Lake City, Utah, Lester R. Kern, St. Charles, Mo. and Russell L. Kern, Midvale, Utah.. She had 30 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Downtown Chapel in St. Johns, Tuesday, May 11. Interment was at Westside Cemetery in St. Johns.
