RANDALL, Curtis Vance


Curtis Vance Randall, A most wonderful son, husband, and father, died on Friday, May 2, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born February 7, 1977 in Mesa, Arizona to Earl Vance & Vickie Heaton Randall. Curtis was a gifted student & enjoyed learning. He graduated from Timpview HIgh School in 1995. Curtis graduated from BYU in computer engineering in 2002, pursued a masters degree in computer science, & had been accepted into a Ph.D. program at BYU in the same field. He served in the Venezuela Maracalbo mission from 1996-98. After returning to BYU, he met & married Amy Rhead, from Mesa, Arizona, in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple on August 18, 2000. Curtis was a natural leader. He enjoyed many sports & was always organizing teams. Curtis loved life & people, continually looked out for those around him. He was very generous with his time, talents, & his love. He will be remembered for his cheerful countenance, selfless devotion to family and friends, and his commitment to his Heavenly Father. Curtis is survived by his wife, Amy and daughter, Eliza Vickie; his father, Vance and stepmother, Krissie Northrup; brothers; Mathew and Jonathan; sisters: Melissa, Marilee, and April; step-brothers: Aaron (Jennie), Christian (Bethany); stepsisters: Rebecca (Rick), Elyse, and Katherine; grandparents Earl and Rae Randall and Israel and Arline Heaton, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vickie, with whom there has been a sweet reunion. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2003, at 11:00 am., at the Mojave Chapel, 3050 Mojave Lane, Provo, UT. Friends may call Wednesday evening, at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, or Thursday, at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment, East Lawn Memorial hills.
