THOMAS, Benny Larry, Jr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/25/2004 Benny Larry Thomas, Jr., age 36 passed away in Show Low May 18, 2004. He was born in Snowflake and he grew up in McNary and Lakeside. He attended elementary school in McNary and attended Blue Ridge High School through the 11th grade. Benny has lived in Show Low since 1985. He worked for a mobile home company as a site set up man. Benny worked for Navajo Construction Company for several years. Most recently he worked as a grounds keeper for a landscape company. Benny loved the outdoors and enjoyed going into the mountains to go camping, hiking and fishing. Benny loved to help his family and friends and especially enjoyed being with his nephews and nieces. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Benny is survived by his parents, Benny L. Sr., and Nellie Thomas of Show Low; three brothers, Arnold Larry Thomas of Silver Lake Estates, Amos Wayne Thomas of Pinetop, Herschel Pryor Thomas of Show Low; two sisters, Connie D. Benskin of Tucson, Brenda Lee Groeneveld of Show Low. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 25, at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
