SEYMOUR,
Earl D.
Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery
Tucson, Arizona
Earl D. Seymour of Tucson, AZ passed suddenly to our Lord on April 6, 2010. He was born March 12, 1939 in Dupree, SD to the union of Gladys Mae Sever and Thomas Ray Seymour.
His father passed when he was very young and after that Bill Walker raised him as his son.
He is survived by his six children, Delana Reidell of Lewistown, MT, Doug (Jenna) of Joliet, MT, Blain (Susan) of Tucson, AZ, Brian of Spokane, WA, Wendy of Tucson, AZ and Jenny of Helena, MT; three sisters, Donna Hannah of Whitewood, SD, Shirley Schomer and Lisa (John) Mason of Gillette, WY; eighteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys, Thomas & Bill; his sisters, Ethel & Martha; his brothers, Warren, Melvin & Clifton; his daughter, Michelle; and grandsons, Tyler & Christian.
Earl was many things to many people. One minute he’d laugh at a person’s foolishness and the very next he’d give them the shirt off his back. He was an extremely generous soul. He worked most of his life with sheet metal, and always took great pride in hard work and a job well done. He’d tell stories for hours about his adventures on the Alaska pipeline and the love he had for his siblings, children and grandchildren.
Services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 12, 2010, with visitation 11:00 A.M. until time of service at EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile, www.evergreenmortuary-cemetery.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Earl’s name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 3803 N. Fairfax Dr., Ste. 100, Arlington, VA 22203.
