Joseph Allen Goldsmith, 32, died Thursday May 20, 2004 in Flagstaff.
He spent most of his adult life protecting others through law enforcement, including security, he was a police officer in the military, officer of Springerville Police Department, Corrections officer with the Arizona Department of Corrections, and Apache County Commander with the sheriff's office. Joseph was a loving husband and father. He was a very humble, generous and all around loving person who touched the lives of many.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Suzy and two sons, Shawn Christopher and Tyler Joseph Goldsmith of Eagar; his parents, Bobbie and Mary Goldsmith of Pinetop; two brothers, Gerry Goldsmith of Tucson and Chuck Goldsmith of Florence.
A Rosary was held Sunday May 23, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Springerville, a Memorial Mass was held Monday May 24, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with memorial Service will be held at at the Round Valley Auditorium.
Owens Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
