Herbert Wilson Huntsinger died suddenly the morning of Sunday, May 30, 2004 in Winslow.
Herb was born June 15, 1960 in Great Falls, Montana and moved to Tucson after the death of his father in 1973. He was diagnosed with a mental illness in 1986 and received treatment for the rest of his life.
After the death of his mother in 1997 he moved to the Show Low area to live with his brother and family. He received treatment through the community counseling center and volunteered his time walking dogs at the Humane Society in Lakeside.
In October of 2002, he was relocated to a residence in Winslow operated by C.C.C. He walked three blocks every Sunday to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Winslow to attend meetings. Herb will be remembered for his sense of humor in spite of his personal difficulties, kindness to others and his practical outlook on life.
He is survived by his three brothers Harry (Carolyn) of Bozeman, Montana, Henry of Tucson and Hunk (Sylvia) of Lakeside.
A memorial will be held Saturday, June 12 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Lakeside.
