Elain Laura Weir, 88, of Mesa, a teacher, died July 7, 1998.  She was born in Westfield, Wisconsin.  Survivors include her daughters, Judith MOSSBURG and Jan TROUTWINE; sons, Gene and George, 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  No services are planned.  Bunker's Desert View Chapel.
