The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 06/11/2004 Weltha Estella Palmer died Sunday evening, May 16, 2004 at her brother's home in Williamsburg after a lengthy illness. She was 82. She was born June 21, 1921 to Winfred Barnabus and Frances Winifred (Stubbs Bletcher) in Senorito, New Mexico. She married John Kelsey Palmer April 2, 1954 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She was a homemaker throughout most of her life. Estella was a member of the American Legion, the VFW Women's Auxiliary and the Presbyterian Church in Springerville. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband John K. Palmer; two step-sons Ryan Palmer and Lee Palmer, all of Springerville; a brother, Gerald W. Bletcher of Williamsburg; two half sisters, Rose Mary Gallegos, and Lille Gallegos, both of Cuba, New Mexico; step-sister Norris Hinkel of Brookings Organ, New Mexico; three step-children; and one great step-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leonard B. Bletcher. Memorial services will be held at Community Presbyterian Church in Springerville June 12 at 2 p.m
