Ella P. Larson, 84, died June 9, 2004 at Webb's Adult Care Center in Snowflake.
She was born March 20, 1920 in McNary, the oldest daughter of Myrtle and Arthur Hall Savage. The family moved to Oregon when she was very young. They returned to Show Low where Ella attended Snowflake High School.
She married Alof Hunt Larson in 1937 in the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They spent most of their married life in Snowflake where they raised their family. Ella was a very accomplished artist, a self taught pianist and seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and hard work. Her greatest accomplishment was her family.
Ella is survived by two sons, Keith and R. H. both of Snowflake; one daughter, Julie Ann Johnson of Hurricane, Utah; 25 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Geri Giles of Prescott Valley, Norma Franke of Lakeside and Lynda Willis of Taylor and one brother, Ferrel Savage of Claypool. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alof and a great-grandchild, Paige Johnson.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 14 at the Snowflake Main Street Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
