Beverly Jean Cox, 57, of Taylor died June 9, 2004 at the Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff.
She was born Oct. 20, 1946 in Greenville, Ohio to Earl and Glenna Goewert. Beverly was married to William "Bill" Cox in Greenville, Ohio Aug. 5, 1964. They moved to Arizona in January of 1979. She worked at Snowflake Lumber and Moulding in Snowflake for the past twenty years. Beverly had a passion for her family, researching genealogy, hummingbirds and fishing.
She is survived by her husband Bill Cox of Taylor; daughter Diana Taylor (Greg) of Winslow; two sons, Bill Cox (Kim) of St. Johns and Chad Cox (Laci) of Snowflake; four grandchildren, Morgan Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Ashley Cox, and Jordan Cox; her mother, Glenna Goewert of Ansonia, Ohio; three brothers, Earl Goewert (Ginny) of St. Henry, Ohio, Fred Goewert (Linda) of Versailles, Ohio, and Dennis Goewert of Ansonia, Ohio; and one sister Linda Bulcher of Ansonia, Ohio. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Earl Goewert of Ansonia, Ohio.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 19 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church, 1654 S. Main St. in Snowflake. Flowers may be sent to 1091 Avelon, Taylor, Arizona 85939 and cards may be sent to P.O. Box 671, Taylor, Arizona 85939.
