Debra Jean Tortice, 30, died June 22, 2004 in McNary. 
    
She was born Dec. 16, 1973. Debra loved being with her friends and family. 
      
Debra is survived by her companion, Mike Begay; her mother, Hilda White; her father, Tex Tortice, Sr.; six daughters, Delfawn, Dafawn, and Rachel Lupe, Ryan Thompson, Jasmine Curley, and Tyree Gatewood; two brothers, Tex Tortice, Jr. and Bernard Tortice; two sisters, Kristina Morales and Tisha Roberts; along with many nephews, nieces, and friends. 
      
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 26, at the McNary Gym, with a one-night Wake beginning at 10 a.m. Friday June 25th at Tisha and Charles Roberts home in McNary. All Tribal Council and Guest speakers are welcome.
