The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 06/25/2004 Edith Wool, 84, died June 18, 2004 in Globe. Edith was born April 12, 1920 in Whiteriver and also lived there. She is survived by her daughters, Vera Susan, Sally Gregg, Lavenia Caddo and Noreen Wool; son, Sherman Wool, Sr.; sisters, Angelita Bennett and Georgianna Slow; brother, Raynor Gushoney, Sr.; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; along with many more relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26 at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Whiteriver with Pastor John Mouser officiating. A wake was held Thursday at her residence in Whiteriver June 24. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
