Carmine J. Tirella, 64, of Peoria, a retired police detective, died March 13, 1998.  He was born in New Rochelle, NY and was a Navy veteran.  

Survivors include his wife, Ursula; daughter, Tina Marie; sons, Michael C. and Carmine V.; sister Rita HURLEY; brother, Robert; and five grandchildren.  

Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria.
