IOBST, Catherine M. (Katie)

Catherine M. "Katie" Iobst, 84, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Allentown, PA, died Monday, May 5 in Anna's Unique Senior Care Home, LLC. 

She was a missionary with the Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM), Wheaton, IL, for more than 31 years, serving in India for more than 25 years. She retired in 1983. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Raymond O. and Serena L. (Kerchner) Iobst. She was associated with the former Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church and Faith Evangelical Free Church, both of Allentown. 

Surviving her are brothers, Oscar R. of Quincy, PA and Mark W. of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters Esther M. Sidell of Pottsville, PA and Serena L. Treby of Macungie, PA; nieces and nephews. 

Services will be Friday, May 16 at 1:30pm in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 1335-37 Linden Street Allentown, PA 18102-4334. Call from 12:30 to time of service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, 1441 Roth Avenue, Allentown, PA 18102. Contributions may be made to the Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) PO Box 969, Wheaton, IL 60189.
