Mildred Delorme Darson
Mildred Darson, 85, died at her home in Vernon, July 17, 2004.
Mildred was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin March 26, 1919. She served in the United States Coast Guard from 1943 to 1945. She made Arizona her home for the past 25 years. She spent much of her time writing her memoirs to pass on to her descendants. She liked making jewelry and was a loving and doting grandmother to her only grandchild. In the 80s she was employed as an aide at Arizona Pioneer Home in Prescott.
Mildred's survivors include her daughter Pandora (Scott) Waters; and granddaughter Athena Simmons, of Vernon.
Sisters Joyce Delorme, Earline Squires, Ethel Fischer, and Dorothy Wendel precede her in death.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Springerville, handled the arrangements.
