BREEN, Doris (Dody)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, April 20, 2010 Doris (Dody) Breen passed away peacefully on April 17, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. Born in Wheeling, W.Va., in 1923, Dody and her husband, Bob, spent the first half of their lives in northern Ohio where they raised their two children. In 1980, they moved to Scottsdale, Ariz. Later, in 1985, they moved to Prescott. Dody's life revolved around loving and giving. Her overwhelming generosity, unconditional love and kindness inspired her family and friends, who will miss her dearly. Dody is survived by her daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Jim; son Bob and his wife, Pam; grandson Scott, his wife, Irene, and great-granddaughter Ava; granddaughter Laurel and her husband Kevin and great-grandsons Ryan and Zach; sister-in law Maxine and her husband Steve Dolnack. Her family wishes to give special thanks to the staffs of Granite Mountain Hospice and Rolling Hills Manor, who provided exceptional care for Dody in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Granite Mountain Hospice Care. We love you, Mom, and wish you eternal peace. Dody will be buried in the family plot in Wheeling, W.Va., with arrangements being handled in part by Ruffner Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be Sunday, April 25, 2010, with her family.
