BLOOM, Charlie Leonard


Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, April 21, 2010 Charlie Leonard Bloom, of Flagstaff, died April 13, 2010, at the Olivia White Hospice House. He was 71. He was born Nov. 26, 1938, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Charles Leonard and Ohie Byrd Bloom. Mr. Bloom moved from Florida in the early 1960s to California and then to Flagstaff in 2000. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He was a 1st class airman and medic. He worked in plastics (injection molding) as a supervisor for many years. Mr. Bloom had a very generous and creative spirit. He loved time spent with family and friends fishing and going to ballgames. He is loved by many and will be missed. He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Scott) Thomson, Suzannah Bloom, Dean Bloom and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m., at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Condolences can be sent to his family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
