Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, April 20, 2010 Lynee Chalee Byrne 1951 - 2010 Lynne Chalee Byrne, 59, of Cottonwood, died April 17. She was born March 1, 1951, in Scottsdale, the daughter of Clarence (Mike) Byrne and Donna Jeanne Byrne. She was a graduate of Camp Verde High School and attended Grand Canyon Union College. She worked at Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital (now Verde Valley Medical Center) as a Unit Clerk for 17 years. Her hobbies were sewing, cooking, crafts of all kinds, gardening, animals, joking and making people laugh. She was preceded in death by her father. Chalee is survived by her longtime companion of 30 years, Sal Escobedo; her mother Donna Byrne; sisters Susan Harley (Chuck) of Cottonwood and Lani Kaye Boyle (David) of Camp Verde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
