Kathleen Ann Trobaugh, 83, of Cottonwood passed away April 15, 2010. Kathleen was born Nov. 20, 1926, in New York City to Franz and Gertrude (Gates) Rieder.
Kathleen served our country in the U.S. Navy where she met and married her devoted husband, Donald Clinton Trobaugh. She was a very skilled crafter and was an avid woodcarver. She belonged to many groups and clubs for the development of her woodcarving skills as well as to teach others. She also always enjoyed a good crossword puzzle.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Donald Trobaugh; her daughter Anne Carlsen (Craig); her son, George Trobaugh; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kvislen (Todd), Emily Richardson (Chad), Christopher Carlsen, Bailee Trobaugh, and Blake Stevens; her great-grandchildren, Paige Kvislen, Zak Kvislen, Will Kvislen, Alexis Kvislen and Gabrielle Kvislen.
A memorial celebration of Kathleen’s life will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Godard Hall at Verde Manor, 3400 Godard Road, Cottonwood. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in Kathleen’s name to the Verde Valley Care Givers, 1210 S. Western Drive, Cornville, AZ 86325.
