The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/13/2004 Chelsea Lynn Altaha of Whiteriver, died Aug. 7, 2004 in Payson. She was born Nov. 13, 1990 in Phoenix. Chelsea loved to dance and sing. She was known to be a special person that always encouraged people, lifted their spirits and often prayed with them. Chelsea is survived by mother Belinda Beach-Altaha and her fiancé Myrtif Susan; father Ronnie Altaha Sr.; brothers Chad & Eric Altaha; sisters Heidi and Jodie Altaha; godparents Nathan & Doreen Clendon; grandfather Preston Beach Sr; grandmothers Pauline Beach, Violet Caddo; uncles Presley Beach Sr., Jonah Beach Sr., Arnold Beach Sr., Lambert Beach, Preston Beach Jr.; Aunties Martha Alsenay, Darlene Beach, Harriett Hosetavit, Alfreda Lane, Donna Williams, Anna Belvadore, Hazel Caddo, Dollie Grant, Beverly Townsend; and many special cousins and friends. A wake will be held at the Pauline Beach residence (four corners) in Cibecue, Friday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. A funeral will be held Sunday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. at the Cibecue Cottonwood Gym, with Pastor Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be at family plot No.12 in upper Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver is helping the family with funeral arrangements.
