Alyffee Spicer Jarrell, 87, of Springfield, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004 at Ridgetop Haven Nursing Center. Her remains were cremated and services will be later held at a later dater. 
  
Mrs. Jarrell was born March 9, 1917 in Mincral, Virginia to the late Van and Ethel Trice Spicer. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Springville Baptist Church. Mrs. Jarrell is survived by husband Arlon Jarrell of Springfield; sons, Nelson G. Peregoy of Brick, New Jersey, Steve Jarrell of Springfield; daughter Kathryn L. Peregoy of Springfield; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.      
      
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
