John was retired and has lived in Concho for the past 15 years. John is survived by his wife Dareatha Mitchel; eight children, Carol Crittenden, Gloria Schooner, Donna Van Deman, Bruce Johnson, James Johnson, Patty Johnson, Larry Johnson, Donald Johnson; 16 grandchildren, Bridget T. Davis, Shane Crittenden, Loretta Crittenden, Tina Saylor, Lisa Twiss, Shelly Bennett, Randy Schooner, Amanda Johnston, Jody Johnson, Billie Joe Beth Ann, and Brandon Johnson, Melissa and Mitchelle Johnson, Rick and Michael Johnson.
